About H3
The trajectory of H3 Sports & Capital began over three decades ago, when its founder, Hélio Viana de Freitas, and his partner Edson Arantes do Nascimento, created one of the first sports marketing companies in Brazil. Together, they played important roles in the major transformations experienced by global football. From the pioneering creation of SADs in Spain in 1990 to the foundation of the Premier League in England, in response to the Taylor Report guidelines. Their active participation expanded to the United States with the 1994 World Cup and the creation of Major League Soccer (MLS), leaving an indelible mark on the history of the sport. In Brazil, their influence was significant in the creation of the Ministry of Sports, the conception of the Pelé Law, and the Football Pact in 2000, restructuring the national scene with 20 clubs per series and the implementation of the round-robin points system, as well as the end of the pass law.
